Out-of-warranty services
Introduction
Not only delivering the high quality products to our customers, HP provides
the best of class post sales services for our customers. No matter the
product is within standard product warranty period or not.
In general, HP commits to keep service parts for 3 to 5 years, depending
on product category, after the corresponding product retired from the
market. Customers can get our product repair services during our committed
service period on fee bases. Our qualified and well-experienced engineers
will service your HP products with genuine HP parts, assuring you of
prompt & quality services.
Customer can still get our product repair services on fee bases after
our committed service period. HP will provide best effort support and
may not guarantee customers products to be well-repaired in some worst
situation. Paid service charges will not be refunded as well.
Flexible
Depending on the urgency and budgets, customer can choose among different
service levels for those non-warranty hardware repairing. Here is the
list of service levels that are available to fit your personal or business
needs:

| Standard Return-to-HP Bench Hardware Repair Service |
HP will provide hardware repair service within 3 to 5 weeks upon
receipt of accepted quotation from customer. Customer will be informed
for machine collection at our Customer Care Service Center upon repair
completion. |
| Express Parts and Return Bench Hardware Repair Service |
HP will provide hardware repair and pay for the shipment back to
customer (except outlying islands & restricted areas), with the
commitment of 5 working days upon receipt of accepted quotation from
customer (primarily subject to parts availability). Please note that
delivery service is not applicable to Compaq products. |
| Standard On-site Repair Service |
HP will arrive at customer's site to offer hardware repair service
within 3 to 4 working days after receipt of accepted quotation from
customer. Customer can also choose optional next working day on-site
service with surcharge (primarily subject to parts availability). |
| Priority On-site Repair Service |
HP will arrive at customer site to begin hardware repair service
within 4 hours after receipt of accepted quotation from customer
(primarily subject to parts availability). |
Peace of Mind Services
For the entire non-warranty product repairing, HP provides 3 months of
extended coverage for the repaired item(s), subject to the terms and conditions
on the job sheet.
